Job profile:

This position focuses on delivering highly accurate and quality services based on established standards, guidelines and procedures within the SAGT container terminal.

Main responsibilities of the job include:

  • Receive/Deliver containers to/from SAGT terminal.
  • Check whether containers received are for nominated vessels and physically in good condition.
  • Process Export Receipt Advice (ERA’s) and Import Delivery Orders.
  • Check the type of cargo and follow appropriate formalities including Hazardous Cargo procedure.
  • Ensure availability of relevant statutory cargo clearances from state authorities such as customs

prior to release of containers and take appropriate actions accordingly.

Candidate profile:

Our ideal candidate will have a high level of tolerance for repetitive tasks and deliver precise error free work with attention to quality and detail.

You must be:

  • Male below 35 years of age
  • Passed G.C.E. (O/L) Examination in six (06) subjects with minimum three (03) credit passes including mathematics & English language.
  • Passed G.C.E. (A/L) Examination with minimum three simple passes.
  • Excellent Oral and Written communication skills of the English language.
  • Excellent computer literacy.
  • Willing to work on Roster/Shift basis.

Academic qualifications in the field of shipping would be an added advantage.

Job profile:

 

This position is responsible for performing specialized work efficiently with confidence, competence and high attention to details.

 

Main responsibilities of the job include;

   

  Undertake mechanical repairs, servicing and refurbishment to all terminal equipment such as

  “Quay Gantry Cranes” and “Rubber Tired Gantry Cranes” to the required standards.

  Diagnose faults in Diesel engines, transmissions and hydraulic systems and heavy mechanical

   systems.

 

Candidate profile:

 

Our ideal candidate must have an excellent knowledge in mechanical engineering.

 

You must have:

  Successfully completed 03 years full time certificate course in the field of mechanical from a reputed technical institute.

  Passed G.C.E. (O/L) examination with five (05) credit passes including Mathematics & minimum simple pass for English language.

  Thorough knowledge and experience in electro mechanical systems.

  Ability to read and understand manuals and engineering drawings.

  Minimum three (03) years of experience in the relevant field.

  A valid heavy vehicle driving license.

  Ability to work at heights and on Roster/shift basis.

Job profile:

 

This job focuses on delivering highly accurate, quality and detailed work based on established

standards, guidelines and procedures.

Main responsibilities of the job include;

 

• Receiving, inspection, binning, issuing of goods and repair controlling.

• Entering GRNs, materials issues, cycle counting entries, etc to the ERP system timely and accurately.

• Carryout inventory replenishment activities timely.

• Administer warehouses/ stock yards.

• Ensuring the stores areas is kept clean, tidy, safe and hazard free.

 

Candidate profile:

 

Our ideal candidate will have a high level of tolerance for repetitive tasks and  deliver precise error free work with attention to quality and detail.

 

The ideal candidate should:

 

• Be male around 25 years of age.

• Passed G.C.E. (O/L) Examination with minimum 06 credit passes including English and

   Mathematics in not more than two sittings.

 Passed G.C.E. (A/L) Examination with minimum 03 simple passes for core subjects

   in not more than three sitting.

 Have completed  certificate/diploma course in storekeeping from a recognized institution.

 Have 03 years experience in storekeeping in an industrial setting.

• Have good computer literacy, spread sheet & word processing.

• Have working knowledge in ERP Systems. Experience in Oracle will be an added advantage.

• Willing to work on Roster/Shift basis.
