Job profile:

 

This position is responsible for performing specialized work efficiently with confidence, competence and high attention to details.

 

Main responsibilities of the job include;

   

  Undertake mechanical repairs, servicing and refurbishment to all terminal equipment such as

  “Quay Gantry Cranes” and “Rubber Tired Gantry Cranes” to the required standards.

  Diagnose faults in Diesel engines, transmissions and hydraulic systems and heavy mechanical

   systems.

 

Candidate profile:

 

Our ideal candidate must have an excellent knowledge in mechanical engineering.

 

You must have:

  Successfully completed 03 years full time certificate course in the field of mechanical from a reputed technical institute.

  Passed G.C.E. (O/L) examination with five (05) credit passes including Mathematics & minimum simple pass for English language.

  Thorough knowledge and experience in electro mechanical systems.

  Ability to read and understand manuals and engineering drawings.

  Minimum three (03) years of experience in the relevant field.

  A valid heavy vehicle driving license.

  Ability to work at heights and on Roster/shift basis.

Job profile:

 

Our ideal candidate will have a high level of tolerance for repetitive tasks and  deliver precise error free work with attention to quality and detail.

 

You must be: 

• Provide first aid and treat minor injuries/ailments of employees during the shift.

• Examination of sanitary standards during the shift and take/recommend remedial action

  where necessary .

• Maintenance of records of consumption of medicine and updating stock records.

• Arrange for replenishment of stocks of medicine.

• Ensure confidentiality in maintenance of medical records of employees.

 

Candidate profile:

 

• Male below 45 years of age.

• Have completed 03 years relevant diploma course conducted by Ministry of Health.

• Registered Nurse in Sri Lanka Medical Council.

• Passed G.C.E. (A/L) Examination with minimum three simple passes for core subjects.

• Passed G.C.E. (O/L) Examination with minimum six (06) credit passes including

  mathematics & English language.

• Minimum 05 years of experience in a large scale industrial organization/military service.

• Have good oral and written communication skills of the English language.

• Have good computer literacy.

• Willing to work on Roster/Shift basis.
